I got the traps i ordered the other day and right on the time they said..I order my trapping supplies from R-P Outdoors out of Lousiana, or pick it up at trapping conventions..R-P can set you up and they offer good advise for any quetions you have and don't try to sell you anything you don't need. I ordered a 330 for beaver but forgot to order the setter and recieved a phone call from them asking if i had used any coniber style traps before..They gave me advise on what else i would need that way i wouldn't have to pay for shipping twice, Or have to wait on another order..To say the least i have been very pleased with all my orders from them...Now if only Dec 1 would get here so i can set and run my line..LOL..Well i guess i'll just have to enjoy the deer season and all the other seasons in between..

Conibear style traps can’t be used in Oklahoma they are out lawed, unless its depredation and you have to let the animal lay and you have to report any and all animals u caught in the trap and the location where the animal was taken. Read the regs guys you get caught outside the law trapping you risk losing your vehicle your traps you’re hunting and trapping lic.

Very good point and i totally agree to check all regs and rules before you do anything including buying gear. I was informed that as long as it was used on my property to control beavers then it was allowed. We have been shooting them the past couple of years but figured trapping would be more benificial..I was not informed however that the animal must lay..Thanks for the warning and i will definatly get that cleared up before season starts.
