wanting to know if any of you hardcore hunters ever use a thermacell mosquito killer, while on stand?? i fired up a buddies of mine, the other day, and dam that thing stinks!! if anyone is using one does the scent rise or fall on a hot afternoon in the bowstand?? seems to me if i can smell it they can too!

Well I have used one in the past and yes it has a odor but it didn't seem to scare the deer away bc I seen plenty of them while it was on. It works pretty good too but I ran out of the fuel so I stoped useing it and just started wearing my bug suit. Just try it for yourself in the woods and see what kind of response you get, lol the deer will let you know if they smell it up their.

Allot of my friends use them in early bow season when the bugs are at thier worst but Im like you if I can smell it I wont use them because I will see the bigest buck ever and he will wind me lol I just use my 3D bug suit.
