Finally after 4 nights of dead chickens got the damn predator

Who the hell would have thought a damn cat was the one killing my chickens. I dont think this is your normal ol house cat. To me it looks crossed with a damn bobcat. Look at its colors, and its damn bobbed tail! Well I stayed up til 2am tonight and snuck outside, and what do you know I was about 75 yards away and had my trusty ol .17hmr and my surefire flash light, as soon as I shined on my chicken pen I seen lights, I didnt hesitate to pull the trigger. Boom, then the lights was gone. I figured it was a damn coon, didnt care whatever it was, if it was killing my chickens it was going to die. Anyone else think this looks crissed with a bobcat?

It looks like it has a coon tail, lol. Man that is kind strange looking. It is defiantly wild. There are probably more so keep in eye out.

damn those .17hmrs can leave an exit wound, they are cheap guns, but Im gonna have to say I like it better than my .22mag

You have to be careful when shooting at night if you don't have a good look at what your shooting you could mistake a predator for your neighbors house cat. Just be careful next time man. You wouldn't want this to happen. You just can't go around shooting everything you think is killing your chickens.

I dont give a crap if its my neighbors house cat or whatever! If whatever it is has one of my chickens in its mouth im gonna kill it!

Well I'm just saying if you was really 75 yards away how could you tell if it had a chicken in its mouth? You may have rushed to pull the trigger. Just take your time and make sure you know what you are shooting. I don't see any feathers from the chicken or any other blood from another animal. The cat doesn't have blood on its mouth. It looks pretty clean like it just had a bath. You might keep an eye out for the real varmint that is attacking your chickens. It looks to me like this little cat was just walking around look for some field mice and bam it takes a shot to the throat.

Lmao I watched it for awhile in the scope and the chickens was going nuts. Its dead it was guilty so its gone now.
